Unique Machine is Alaska’s largest machine shop, serving the fishing, mining, construction, government, gas and oilfield industries for over 40 years and is an important supplier to all oilfield Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) companies statewide.
Acquired by Sumitomo Corporation in 2004, Unique Machine strives to be our customer’s supplier of choice by being the best at what we do, and continuously working to ensure that our quality is never compromised. In 2008, we relocated to a new facility off King Street with 16 acres of pipe yard including rail spur. This year we have leased adjacent space to SMS Equipment Rentals to occupy a 10,000 square foot facility complex. We perform high distribution for OCTG through Tubular Solutions Alaska (TSA). Both SMS Equipment and TSA are a part of the Sumitomo Corporation.
We appreciate and value our global customers and make continuous efforts to support our community. We have exciting plans to grow and better serve our customer’s needs.
